Know what each tool uses.

Each extension handles data differently. Hide Email syncs your redaction list and scans page text on your device. The Hide IP extension asks ipify for your public IP, then checks for matches locally; this page's demo uses a separate Cloudflare endpoint. Page contents stay on your device.

New Tab sends searches and weather requests to the providers you choose. Each guide explains its permissions and data use.
